Its 3 years now since I left my part time job to go full time in my business so I wanted to say THANKYOU to you all for supporting me.
Every year my little business grows between 35 – 54% all thanks to you.
I was reflecting on my journey so I thought I would share if you are interested. Warning its a long story so leave now if you like 😀.
It was around 1994 that classical feng shui came into my life. Our youngest son was unwell for ages and noone could figure out why. I went to the Doctor, paediatrician, naturopath, homoeopath, kinesiologist, you name it I was there desperate for help. We were living in Zimbabwe at that time.
Then someone told me about a visiting classical feng shui Consultant.
Of course I got her in and she told me the main problem was the unseen energy in his bedroom. I did what she said and moved him in with us where he flourished. I thought it was a coincidence and put him back, but he went down hill again. This happened a couple more times enough to convince me. (Yes Im guilty of experimenting on my children – sorry).
I went on a huge journey over the next few years of studying every book I could find on feng shui as there were no courses. Unfortunately I did not know there is the real traditional classical feng shui and the watered down western versions – I just studied and restudied every book. With my book knowledge I feng shuid our and other homes and any place that would let me experiment. I had weird results! I just had to test this.
In 1999 we moved to Australia and were living in SE Qld. A lady came into our shop. In conversation she told me she was a classical feng shui Consultant. At that moment I recalled the previous consultant was CLASSICAL – so what was the difference between a classical feng shui Consultant and feng shui?
This lovely lady, appropriately called Joy, explained that classical was the old traditional method that had been around for thousands of years and modern/western feng shui only since 1970!
I was hooked and got her to do our house and business but she was to teach me along the way, I went to everything she offered and paid for her to share everything and anything with me. We lived in a small town and there were no courses so she was my only source of the real deal. I got her to go through my study books and throw away anything that wasn’t based on the traditional system.
It explained my crazy results! I learnt a great deal from her and continued to study only the classical authors. In 2006 we moved to Townsville and she would not come up here to feng shui our home and business. There were no classical feng shui Consultants up north. I was on my own again.
People used to call me the feng shui lady so I continued on my studies of the classical system and helped anyone I could. In 2010 a friend whom I had helped many years before called me with a feng shui question.
Originally when I had helped her house the internet was not around this time she had googled and found mixed results so phoned me. I thought I would google the answer too to see what was out there – oh dear! So many contrasting and confusing results. Some based on the watered down western system, some bits of classical information but not the whole story etc etc. It made me mad enough to decide to study properly and get qualified! I thought how hard can it be? Ive got 16 years of info, I know the difference between the classical and diluted. Surely one year of study? Hahahaha
So started my real journey. In 2010 I decided to pretend I didn’t know anything and started from scratch learning from classical Masters and courses.
I soon learnt this wasnt going to be 1 to 5 more years of study under my Masters in fact its a life time commitment. We sold our restaurant in 2012 and I decided to start my business properly. It had been done in part time hours before not part time days. I had to work full time so it was feng shui on the weekends, then I reduced my work hours to 4 days and 3 days with feng shui taking up the rest of the week and one day off. I did the craziest jobs just so I could still do my feng shui. I now was under a few Chinese Masters and Grandmasters.
In 2017 my 3 day job moved to 4 days. Then they wanted me to go full time. My soul was crying. My feng shui client waiting list was getting longer and longer so I resigned to do my feng shui and chinese astrology full time.
Ive never looked back. 2019 I became a Classical Feng Shui Master but I only know what I know and will be studying the rest of my life.
I thank and honour all my clients without you this would not be possible. I am forever grateful and in awe of my Masters, I am always going to be their student.
Thank you for reading this to the end .
Thank you to you for your support.
